How do I remove WIN PC antivirus from my computer?
WIN pc antivirus installed itself on my laptop. I know it wants me to buy their product. A bunch of stuff pops up constantly; I tried to uninstall it and I can’t find it in the list of programs. HELP!!!!!!
According to BleepingComputer.com you will need to use a clean computer to download MALWAREBYTES anti-malware program from www.malwarebytes.org and copy it to a flash drive or CD. Then transfer the install file to the infected computer and run.
Occasionally you will not be able to run this program without being in SAFE MODE. To get there, reboot your computer and tap the F8 key, repeatedly until a menu comes up. You want to choose SAFE MODE WITH NETWORKING.
If you still are unable to run this program, you may need to RENAME the downloaded file to something like HELP.EXE before you transfer it to the infected computer or you may be able to RUN the program directly from the flash drive.
Additional info on this infection from bleepingcomputer.com:
This is a new rogue anti-spyware program. Like its predecessors, this program is installed and advertised through the use of Trojans that display fake security alerts on your computer. These security alerts state that your computer is infected and that you should click on them in order to download software that will protect you. Once you click on these alerts, the Trojan will automatically download and install the program on your computer.
This program has only one purpose and that is to trick you into thinking you are infected so that you purchase it. Please ignore any warnings that this program may display and instead use the free program below to remove this program and any associated malware.

Okay, Win PC is a common malware infection. Don’t buy anything it advertises, or click on it for anything.
In order to remove, you should first download a couple of free anti-malware programs. Win PC can’t be removed like a normal program, becuase it is a rogue piece of software, you have to remove it another way.
You should uninstall any existing security programs on your PC, and then install:
Avast Anti-Virus
http://download.cnet.com/Avast-Home-Edition/3000-2239_4-10019223.html
Malwarebtyes Anti–Malware
http://download.cnet.com/Malwarebytes-Anti-Malware/3000-8022_4-10804572.html
Install, update them, and then run full scans, preferbly in safe mode first. To get there, reboot your computer and press F8 until a menu comes up. You want to choose safe mode with networking. They should help remove this piece of malware. You can also get Ad-Aware Anti-Spyware to protect you in the future, as well as the othet wo programs
http://download.cnet.com/Ad-Aware-Anniversary-Edition/3000-8022_4-10045910.html
If it still remains, you can try removing it manually or downloading a special tool to remove it. I advise you back-up your important files before though just in case.

WinPC Antivirus is a rogue application, fake spyware remover. This parasite is clearly a copy of WinPC Defender.
